A brief history

I opened the yellow pages at 12 years old and started calling all of the modeling and talent agencies in Seattle.Thankfully I had the support of my mother, I found workshops, acting classes, voice lessons and even a few auditions and even landed a few roles here and there before life and family had other plans for me. I never lost my drive and love for all aspects of entertaining and performing. At one point in my early twenties I even enjoyed working as a karoke host. After becoming a mother I decided to start taking college classes in hopes of figuring out what I wanted to be when I grow up Wink

. It was spring quarter and I had decided to take a lighter class load and rewarded all of my previous hard work. A quarter of fun classes, Philosophy, Weight lifting, and Theater. During that quarter a local producer who was friends with the instructor came to our class seeking some students to help him with a short vo project. I almost jumped out of my seat when he asked if anyone was interested in reading for him. Half a dozen of us went and read various lines, after a few reads he asked three of us to come back that evening to record. I was so excited, there it was, that rush that nothing else gave me. After that I found out about intro vo workshop at the college as well. College did help me figure out what I want to do, just not in the usual way. But then again I am abit unusual myself. It has taken me along time to get here but here I am to stay. I know I am a true newbie and have alot to learn and that the learning never stops if one is to be a true professional. I welcome all of your advice and would love to here some of you thoughts. I have posted two demos over on the critiques board as well. Thanks I look forward to getting to know many of you better.
