Some actor was asking about talent agents and has had a lead and personal recommendation with an agents private contact info sitting in their message box for a couple of weeks now.

Now there's someone who is putting out some effort.

An old man goes to church (plug in synagogue if you're Jewish, mosque if you're Muslim, and if you're an atheist you're SOL)

Her starts praying and says "God, let me win the lottery, not for me but for my wife so that in our old age we can have a little comfort"

He goes back to the (wherever you worship) the next week and prays "God let me win the lottery. My son was accepted to Harvard and I can't afford to send him..."

Another week goes by and the man returns and starts praying "God, let me win the lottery my daughter wants to get married and..." JUST THEN there's a loud crack of lightning and a voice booms out BILL. The old man says "yes, it's me Bill, is that you God" and the voice continues "BILL, BUY A TICKET."

Same theme - - - a man is stranded on his porch as the flood waters rise. The coast guard shows up in a boat to save him and he says "nope - I'll stay put - the Lord will take care of me". As the man is forced to the 2nd floor another boat comes - "Climb in" they say. "Nope", he says " the Lord will take care of me". As he is clinging to the chimney on the roof another boat comes by "Please - Get in the boat" - "Nooooo, the man yells - The Lord will take care of me!"

After the man dies in the flood he is standing at the gates of heaven when he sees the Lord. Lord - I have always believed in you with all my heart - I told them all you would save me - why didn't you DO SOMETHING?!?! The Lord shook his head and said ... "I sent three flippin' boats!!!"
