I don't love it.
Try putting the text inside the noose loop.

the loop of the noose should be the "o" of the word "or"

| Alright..I'll play. I think the noose is WAY too big. It is the focal point instead of the name. I assume from the font that you are trying to go for that "Old West" wanted poster look, so I would lose the noose and center the words. If you do it that way, the "E" in "DEAD" should align over the "O" in "OR". You could make the left edge of the letter "E" in "DEAD" a rope and then the noose would be the "O" for "OR". Then to get really cool with it, the "O" in "OR" would align over the "I' in "ALIVES", so you could raise the "I" and tilt it a little to make it look like it is hanging out of the noose. That's my $.02 worth.

Todd, being a professional logo designer myself (go here to my page: http://spasticlizard.com/logos.html) the first thing I'd need to know is: What is the logo for? Is it for a band? A movie? A group of immigrant Kahzikantis'? How will it be used? and so on.
I disagree that the noose is too big. But I think the text is too perfect, balanced and centered. I'm attaching a similar type of logo my wife did a few years ago for a Western motif just for comparison.
I'd break the text up into different sizes; keep it all uppercase if you want, but make the first letter of each line EXCEPT FOR THE "or" about 50% larger than the text in the rest of the word. Notice the different size fonts used in the words Cattle and Company below.
It's a good start, but it's pretty bland. Needs to be rougher and not as clean and balanced and 'nice'.

All right; keep it short
It grabs. Not bad.
Same stuff; but Dead or Alives carved into branch of hanging tree.
Or...same stuff; but like a Western 'wanted poster. Dead Or up top; noose photo in middle; Alives at bottom.
Send money.
To me.
Visuals On!

Thanks to all. Believe it or not every one of you proved my point. There are those who felt that the mere presence of the noose would connote images of lynchings and racial ill-will. I simply saw the noose as an image of wild west justice - "Wanted Dead or Alive" Clint Eastwood - "Hang 'Em High" --- that sort of thing.
A friend asked if I could photoshop a noose - that's really all I did. I was just curious to see if anyone felt strongly about the use of the noose in general.
It's for a band, btw. Old School Punk - Ramones kinda stuff.
Thanks Scott for the professional advice!
