After leaving broadcasting 15 years ago I've only done sporadic voice-work, perhaps 6 to 12 projects a year. I'm trying to make a concerted effort to get back into it more but my hit ratio here is nil. I've picked up some private leads from another site but no successful bid here yet.
I've tried a number of different demos and I'd like some feedback on the newest. I'm always trying to find a different way to produce a demo. It's the producer in me, I'm afraid. When a private lead wanted a demo to show the possibilities for some clients I came up with this. Any suggestions or thoughts are welcome. Wow - it's a little scary actually pressing the submit button..be gentle.

Hey Gary!
You have a good voice, but I'd suggest taking the Mercedes & BMW spots and making them 2 pieces on your demo. A bit repetitive as you have it now, and most producers don't want to hear a demo with 2 spots that repeat. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Gary,
Hate to sound repetitive, still, but yup... it sounds all like just one demo.
That being said, whatta voice and great interpretation! You're not Larry Wayne's identical twin are you????? The sound is really similar.
Another thing... I listened twice to your demo and each time the word EE-pitomizes jumped out at me. I'm not a pronunciation expert, but dictionary.com pronounces it with a short 'i' sound at the front, which is how I've always heard it. Just sounded odd to me.
I suspect you have a TON of amazing spots and I'd love to hear more of them and more versatility.
All the best!

Gary:
Happily afforded a couple of good listens, and think you may be one of V123's best at moving up and down the voice range for maximum impact. You do bring it.
On the nagging side, I feel your sibilants are a trifle strong. It may be your stopper; or maybe you should trail off the mike on those 's' sounds. Also, there's a few too many seconds of ineffectual music at a dead spot after the Benz clip.
But those are bagatelles. It's good. You do us all proud.
