I finally got a "thanks but no thanks" for the abortion read. First one. Something must be fixed in the system. I know Freddie has been messing with my profile to try to get the email notification thing fixed, maybe that fixed my quest for denials.

I wonder if he can fix mine, too. I have been told that I have been sent these mysterious rejection notes, but I've never received one!

Colin and Amy,

I will cheerfully forward to you a few dozen of the ones I receive weekly if you'd like.

I keep fantasizing that they I am missing messages that say "Not this time, but we have a bigger, better job for you if you'll just call this number as soon as you get the chance..."

None for me please.

I prefer to live in my delusional state, where I can pretend that they just never got around to my demo or heard someone that sounds just like me before they got to me. I will sleep better that way. I do not handle rejection well.

So, no rejects, no problem.

I just want to know that maybe, just maybe someone listened to my audition. If I can get them to listen then I think I have a chance.

FREDDIE: Can you fix it so that I get my rejection messages please? It would be better than not knowing, and it would give me new fodder for self-flaggelation.
Thanks.
Seriously.
Heather

There are rejection letters for voice123? Shocked I've never seen one and it sure isn't because I'm snagging everything I audition for. Wink

Freddie me too, I actually sent you a pm about my mailbox NOT getting rejection letters either. I mean, since November? I should have at least had a few in my mailbox.k don't ya think? Rejection notices would help me review the auditions for my own references too. Thanks so much for looking into this. Debbie Deutsch

Freddie....I think mine must be set to a default of not receiving the thanks but no thanks emails. I would like mine set to receive them too please.....it doesn't make much difference, but it would at least let me know that my auditions are being heard, since I can't get an audition in before the low hundreds. Otherwise I'm left to think that I'm just wasting my time and my auditions regardless of how good or bad, are not even being heard. The thanks but no thanks email would at least give me peace of mind that I'm being heard.

I looked all over the site, and settings and profile and couldn't find anywhere to check for this setting or default. Didn't Colin or someone mention there was a checkmark you could click????
