Quick! Help!

Hey everyone,

I finally landed my first voice123 job!!! whooohoooo...

Now all i need is a lil help from you guys,

1. can anyone suggest a great music library?
2. how should i set up a long term payment plan, paypal, checks through the mail, escrow?
3. do i need to get a contract in writing for a long term job or is email confirmation legally sufficient.

Way to go Khristine...Great news!
There's quite a bit of chat around here for background music. You cannot go wrong with the royalty-free stuff provided by Backtraxx from Digital Juice.
Personally, I'd opt for cheques on a 14 or 30-day basis. Pay Pal is fine for a small one-timer here and there, but can get cumbersome for steady billing. I suggest, however, that you get some good faith money up front: the first month's installment, or 10% of the whole amount; something.

But, certainly, if it's a 5-figure deal or more, you should check with a lawyer or call an agent (they always seem more willing to take on a talent who comes armed with a paying gig) to get the t's crossed and the i's dotted.
