I've noticed some VO artists have their mic attached to the stand upside down, is there a reason for flipping the mic or is it just preference?

You mean you've been using your mic the wrong way all this time....of course it's supposed to be hanging....that's right side up....straight up is upside down......geez Lynne....that's the answer to all your problems right there! hahahahahaha....just kidding....it is just a matter of preference....I like mine hanging from the boom. Although it is a matter of preference....be aware that if you DO hang your mic upside down it can affect the capsule inside. It's not generally a problem at all, but just be aware that it could change the sound slightly. _________________ Cheers,
