Do you have any other recording software besides Acid?

The consensus here is that it is your sound card's latency.

Hey Colin,

Thanks for letting me know - great news!

Plus, you were on the money with the sampling rate. When I decrease it, the problem goes away.

Checked in with Sony, and they have a driver patch for my sound card to deal with the issue...

Started with a problem, but it's turned into a great day!
