From a gig for Indian doctors a couple of years back. Sorry about the sound quality. That's bootlegs for you...

Sweet!
Haven't had the courage to try stand-up yet - you're a brave man Rajiv!
Sounds like the audience was having a great time,
Joe

Raj, Sounded good. Was that your normal accent? I have done a lot of stand up before too...especially back in the 80s. Last gig I had was around 1992 I think. Tough business, almost as tough as VO...lolol. Raj, did you do your impressions too?
Joe, whats up bro? Brutal day today. My mic took a shit. Had to run out and buy a new one after all my sessions. Had to use my Nova which was good for a while during a ISDN session. For another recording I broke out the SM58, I always forget just how awesome that little mic is...lol. Afterwards, I bought a Rode NT1. Sounded very nice so I thought I would give it a try. I also bought a new Marshall 2003.

Damn, Vic! Those dollars are just flyin' off you! Send a few my way!!!
Sorry to hear about your mic dump. I swear by my sm58 - it's a real workhorse and a good match for my vocal range. Rode may be my next one. Or a Sampson USB one for the road. Either way a rode or road will be involved somehow...
Other than that, just hangin' in there.
Off to din-din,
Joe

Cheers for the comedic raps, chaps. Think I might stick to voiceovers from now on...
Vic, to be honest I don't even know what my normal accent is anymore, but that certainly wasn't it - just trying to fit in with my Indian brethren, I guess! Let's call it a poor man's Peter Sellers impression. Actually, I tended to try and create original characters rather than do impressions in my short flirtation with stand-up. Old Paddy Patel might have to make a come back one day!... How about you, Vic? What kind of act did you have?
Buon Appetit, Joe (mind that whip!)
Rajiv
