No straight paths

Hey there.. brand new to VO field and still incredibly green (think a pine tree) but sometimes you need to jump in without checking the depth of the water first. I got the degree in Communications back in my halcyon days but at the time circumstance prevented me from pursuing the path into voice and broadcasting. Now years later I've relocated to Dallas and am going the route I realize I should've bent hell and earth to follow earlier. I don't have a demo posted yet as I am paranoid about being substandard at this point, even with my VO instructor's encouragement - Bob Michaels, please take a bow. So, in other words, I'm trying to find the way down the voice path and sometimes it feels like the bumpiest winding path possible. Shocked

Welcome to the forums. I totally agree with Robert, if this is the path you want to follow, go for it. Life is too short to postpone things, go for it, I’m sure you’ll find that this community is very willing to help.
