I'm Anastasia, and i'm a Bahamian Voice Artist. I have a passion for creating, singing, speaking, producing and writing. I've been privilleged to have received numerous recommendations and jobs for jingles, station ids, on hold ads and commercials.

My purpose is to learn and to share. I hope to meet some friendly, fascinating folk.

Vocally Yours,
Anastasia

PS- Contrary to popular belief, when Bahamians greet each other, we don't say "hey mon" we say, "whatchusayin' Dread?" (ie wuz up dude?) Laughing

Let me be the first to welcome you, and to volunteer if you ever need to bring in some outside voice talent.

I'm sure I could find some way to pry myself out of the frigid flat midwest to do a little work in the tropics! Wink

Anastasia:
Great to have another fine singer among us, especially since notes and I don't get along and we won't wrestle for the same leads.
Have enjoyed your exquisite island many times, though the casino has not been overly kind.
If you ever want to enjoy some tobogganing, skating, snow-fort building or plain old shivering, we'll switch homes for a while....
Have a wonderful 2007 and welcome to the voice club, Dread.

Freddie, thank you for the warm welcome it's great to be among fellow vocalists.

Robert, first of all kudos on the correct usage of the word dread *ovations and applause!* Which islands of the Bahamas have you visited? I used to work on the Front Desk at Atlantis Paradise Island, so if you've ever stayed there, there's a chance we've met. Sorry about the casino thing dread, those slot machines and tables are so "unnice".
*a moment of silence for your loss* (repeat as needed) Sad

You know, I always say, it's not about winning, its how you play the game. (yes, right, right)
Do you know, I have never seen snow?(i'm so sheltered) I normally don't travel during the Christmas or winter because there's so much tradition attached to it in the Bahamas and I would feel so lost without it. But I would like to shiver a time or two. Have you ever experienced Junkanoo?

BTW, I could use some good "island" dialects - know of any good audio to mimic?

Thanks much,

I honestly don't, and if I may, I don't suggest that you mimic, but customize. What I mean is, simply listening to an audio won't teach you how to say what you need to say, you'd have to learn verbatim how to pronounce the words on your script. But i'd be happy to coach you and give you some tips. If you ever get a lead for a male with a Carribbean accent or dialect we can do business.
