I went back in my archives and found something that actually got airtime! It was written and produced by Mike Hall who was the announcer, and is now (in)famous as the voice for meals on wheels.....

That was seriously cute. I used to do melodramas as a theatre actress. I remember one of my lines. "I'm just trying to earn my daily bread through honest toil". Hey could you send me the music bed on that? I really like it. It gives me images of the young heroin tied to the train tracks screaming for help. Or putting her hand to her forhead saying "I can't pay the rent!" Evil landlord saying "You must pay the rent". "But I can't pay the rent!".  |
