I engaged in a little digital fakery on the WCNN demo and dropped the pitch by about 7 percent.

Couldn't resist. I'm way too old for this read and I produced it... but hey, if I'm not having fun then I will suck...

Damn! I can't believe I missed the party last night!

Sorry Colin! - I was actually busy recording something for a client. But I didn't forget about you my fine feathered friend - so here's a little belated Bday thing I threw together for you - SNL style. Pardon my err.. amateurish producing skills...

I suppose this would be a good time to thank Rajiv, Thom & Robert whose audios I stole...cough, I mean subjected to a little fowl play... but I'm hoping that in the spirit of good fun, I didn't ruffle any feathers.

So without further ado... from one Chicken to another..

Maggie

Damnit Maggie, Robert and Rajiv... for the second night in a row I am torn between laughter and tears. Thank you, all of you.

My favorites....
"a chicken you can actually like"
"Colin... long "o," long memory"
"I like to think I'm more than just a chicken"
"Industry's most advanced CHICKEN"
The Clinton.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
"Mama mia 'atsa spicey chicken."

You guys had to really go back and dig for that stuff.

What did I do to deserve such attention? I am not used to it and am quite frankly overwhelmed.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I don't know what to say. I am AGAIN touched.

OK, this read probably won't get the job (too dramatic) but how's this for a Discovery or History Channel read.... (TOS)

COLIN - you are most welcome. I had a lot of fun creating it, and that's part of the joy!

ROBERT - yes, I have a twisted sense of humor. It has kept me sane in this insane world! Wink
Glad I elicited a few chortles from you...

RAJIV & THOM - Thank you for the compliments. Coming from you guys, it means a lot. This reminds me of a story of when I was a kid. I was really bored one summer and looking for creative stimulation (as always) so I whipped out my old Radio Shack recorder and put together a collage of various silly recordings that I made myself. I remember reading labels off of various household items I could find - one of which was my mother's body lotion which I read in 3 languages (one of which I didn't speak..), singing along to Alvin & the Chipmunks' "I told the Witch Doctor", and whatever other crazy accents and voices I could come up with. Needless to say, by the time I assembled the whole thing and played it to my friends & family, they were laughing so hard they couldn't breathe. Little did I know this was just the beginning.... though it wouldn't be till many, many years later that this calling would resurface..

So in the spirit of good fun and celebrating ol' times - I give you my version of Alvin & the Chipmunks - take it away boys ~
