Okay I locked myself away and have been working on this for 2 weeks straight. I've begun to smell really bad and my soil is starting to sprout trees. I've got about 3 more voices to ad to it. But if anyone has a cool idea or something they think would improve it. Just say it! I've hit a block and can no longer think for myself.

Simon, You have a great voice.

Not being an expert just yet I'll still comment. What struck me is how busy the demo is, it was kind of difficult to kept track of everything going on, maybe thats the intent, but to be able to hear all those characters, toning down the music bed a tad bit might help

Of course, this is just my opinion, and what do I know!

Simon,

Overall I have nothing but compliments (for the most part). There's a lot I really like about your demo. Production quality is top notch. Good variety, good opening piece with a lot of dynamics. I like the fact that these are your own character voices and you're not trying to impersonate some other tired voices or characters we've heard a million times out there.

I agree that the sfx and mux overpower your demo, though, especially in the beginning. About the only other thing I'd consider is shortening the first clip a bit, allowing you to add perhaps one more variant of something else in the middle.

This demo should do great at netting you character voice, video game and animation work, but before you send it out, tweak the sfx and mux.

Good job!

Thanks Scott,
That means alot to hear that as I am doing all of my own editing. That's the Scott Pollak stamp of approval! Need a new demo done up? My time is cheap and "Production quality is top notch"!! Hopefully I can gain some business on the side producing demos now Smile

Simon,

I agree. You're very versatile...I can imagine your voice on a lot of shows my son watches. I'll bet you could hook up with a cartoon or video game company and get a lot of work with your capabilities.

Just tone down the demo a bit. It got real busy in there.

Good luck!

Cameron
