Robert.... I like the slow turtle voice. You actually have a good voice for a turtle. Turtles are slow, but they do get angry. Might want a little more emotion on the "Get off my lawn" line even if it is delivered s l o w l y.
Colin.... I love the water sound efx even though it would be better for fish. You had a great character voice for that. Perhaps a bit quick, but that will probably make you stand out from the other reads.
I personally love the Comcast turtles. "We put the Gag in Lollygag" (how do you spell lolligag?)

Allison....Wow, 3 days huh....Good job. I would have taken off all week.
Tom P.... I liked your "Water to dying kids" read. I did mine with a more imature angry tone. It's posted above.

Thanks Deby!.... I would have preferred taking a week to voice anything, but the oral surgeon gave me the "ok" to go back on the air within 48 hrs. B'C I work f/t for a hip hop/ R&B station, this past week has been a challenge! Thank God I'm on the air during mid-days when the tempo is more adult oriented. This was a week where I deleted some great leads b'c I just couldn't audition quality.
Deby & Colin: Love your dying children auditions. WOW! You give me chills.
Michael; your turtle read is really kewl.

I once went directly from the dental chair following a root canal to a VO session. Fortunately, it was a 20 minute drive to the studio so the novocaine had a chance to wear off and I could feel my tongue again by the time I got there.

Turtles are supposed to be slow, right? I guess that's why mine are just now getting around to being posted.
(Are you a turtle?)

Scott the First United sounded believable and not over the top could not find fault.
Here is the Resort one. Not sure about the sound, I am hoping I am improving in this area and have found a way to raise the sound levels by conecting a 12 channel mixer to a usb interface. Would much appreciate comment/critique. Edwin

Edwin....What rating did you get? I mean I realize mine isn't my best read....but a 2.0....the average was 1.9. That just seems harsh to me.
Scott....Your stuff sounds good, it almost always does. More energy would have been nice, but you don't need me to tell you that.
everbody's stuff sounds better than mine...Are my compression levels messed up or what? Why does my Britney sound tin like? Where is Roger when you need him?
Here's my turtle......and my Britney

I'm picking up on a little/a lot of ... reverb off your room when you speak louder. I like the voice though....just sounds like it's a little too close to the mic. (mouth noise/spittle).
Good read nevertheless.

Deby, they didn't open it yet but I will let you know the last two auditions I have done both unopened have a very low average so I am about to get pummeled. I thought your Britney was good.
Scott thanks for comments--They help!! I am actually not that close to the mic so it must be too hot but if I lower the gains the recording comes out too low. But it is a new set up with the mixer powering the mic so need to experiment.
