| Oh, and BTW.... the posted budget on this was "Flexible - USD $350.00 " I quoted $350. I only state that to demonstrate that there's no need to shoot low when the client indicates that the budget is "flexible" or if s/he offers a wide price-range. FWIW

Congratulations. I got 5 stars for that demo (as I presume you did, too) and, like you, I quoted the full $350.

David,
I wish I had read this before I sent Brian (the host/exec producer) one more read on it.
38 minutes ago (this is Tuesday afternoon - your post was Monday) I got an eMail saying they were narrowing it down today (12/4), and asking for a re-do.
A waste of time, or ??? VERY odd.

Kent,
Hmmmm Very odd indeed. I did some work for them over the summer. Good client, quick pay. Brian said that that experience led him to go with me again. At least, that was what he said in a phone conversation with me yesterday. Maybe they've "switched horses"??? I guess I better not spend that check yet!

Kent,
This from Brian a few minutes ago:
I thought they had come to a decision but I guess not. When
ever we do anything here it gets voted on by the staff. It's like Survivor
around here... I'll keep you posted.
While I wish you had read my post before you submitted (as you doubtless submitted a great audition)  , you should know that the job is still up for grabs. Next time, so as not to jinx myself, I'll just keep my piehole shut 'til I get the check...
