18 Years experience,
Detroit native, living in the ATL.
One audition, no work yet..TONS, and I do mean TONS of SmartCast auditions, but have to "upgrade" to actually submit...  |

Wow.
As of this post, THIRTY ONE folks have bothered to stick their noses in here...not ONE has bothered with so much as a "hello?"
WHAT kind of forums are these, exactly? Didn't think that I bothered to come here just to talk to myself.

Well Carey, initially you didn't give folks much to respond to. You didn't really ask any questions, just gave a thumbnail bio.
I suspect if you wander around the forums, especially the "Leads and Reads", "The Pros", "Geek Place" and "Critique My Demo" you'll find TONS of endlessly useful, great stuff by all sorts of people. Just ask.

Didn't know that a resume was needed.
Forum said, "Introduce yourself."
Apart from my SSI and shoe size, don't know that much more than what I said was necessary, then again, if someone needed to know more, all they had to do was SPEAK, then ASK.
And I HAVE perused the forums, and see some good stuff in here, though it looks more like I'll read than post here....

Yeah, I guess I'm GLAD that some folks don't think that I look as old as I am, plus my initial endeavour into radio came a few years out of high school, so maybe I got a nice little jump, I guess. |
