Wow Erik,
Was that the title even after his death there in the New york paper? Well hopefully they talked about the good things he did musically as well. No excuse for what he did to Tina Turner(Fannie Mae bullock) though.

Only a paper like the NY Post could get away with a headline like that.
Sad, but not surprized about Ike's death. He abused himself terribly over the years.
BTW: I had the pleasure of seeing Tina Turner in concert in the early 80's when she opened up for the Rolling Stones. She ROCKED at the Meadowlands Arena in NJ.

That seems to be true. Never could understand why is it only the "BIG" players can get away with stuff like that? Same headline in B.F.E. Iowa would be getting the paper boycotted, but in NYC, it gets chuckles.
