Hi Guys,
I'm finally pursuing one of my dreams . How can I find a basic script (for free) to record a demo to add to my profile? Are there any websites, anything on here or etc? Any help would really be appreciated .

Hello T McCoy! Welcome the the forum.
The first thing you want to do is visit the thread in the NEWBIE section, "Random Thoughts for Newcomers". There's alot of info there you'll find valuable. For instance; you don't want to say "I'm new at this". That's a turn off for voice seekers.
Second, your demo should consist of many scripts and not just one. Put your strongest reads first. The first :15 sec are the most important. Each demo you post should be no longer than :60.
Third, try to incorporate a variety of demos on your home page. For example; commercials, promos, trailors, etc. What are your strengths? That's what you want to display on your profile page.
I highly recommend you visit the home pages of the heavy hitters and professionals at this site to get an idea of how they sell themselves. There are alot of seasoned pros at this board who post great advice. Read all about it and good luck!
