Yes, Jodi, they asked me to 'lighten up' for the second half to separate the opening message from the directions, times, etc. Not to mention the music change.

Ahhh. I see. That makes sense. Smile

Did anyone else get the little girl upset about her missing teddy bear. The one where the Father cuts the bears head off to attach it to a Hockey cap?

That was creepy, but I was more upset that a major league sports franchise in a major market was paying 50 bucks a pop for voices.

Me and my almost 15 year-old son doing a principal-student audition for voices-dot-com.

EDITED TO ADD A SECOND DUET, my son as Carter, the "surfer dude".

And Diane, I'm MORE than happy to have my son show me up!!!

That was great, Scott! I already knew *you* had tons of talent but your son can act too! He sounded like a natural. Very Happy Nice going! I actually saw that audition request come through voices-com but didn't think I would really fit any of the voices they required so I passed on it.

Good luck! Hope you guys get those parts!

All the best,

--Jodi

Love it, Scott! But gotta say, I think Christian shows you up on this one!! I think it was in his wheel house.

So, of course, now I've got to post a grand collaboration of my son Ian, and RJ's two youngest ones -- for our lit project. A clip from Midsummer Night's Dream:

Diane, as I mentioned above, I would be utterly THRILLED to be upstaged and outshined by my son! I'm very proud of the v/o work he's already done in the past and would LOVE to see him land a few of these.

I hadn't heard the Midsummer bits before, but I love them! Very nicely done and yours and Roberts kids sound adorable. Quite a bit younger than mine, obviously! Enjoy them before Satan enters their bodies and turns them into teenagers!

Ooo! That was fantastic, Diane! Thanks for sharing! (And the kids are utterly adorable.)

Thanks, Scott and Jodi --- I think kids always steal the show. You know -- like dogs. Hope your son sticks with it, Scott -- sounds like he's got lots of natural ability going for him -- AND a live in coach.

I know what you mean about the teenage years ahead -- I already see the handwriting on that wall.

Well, my auditioning has been sparse lately but I gave one a shot this afternoon. The dog food commercial...

i don't know, Dave -- I think the dog overplayed this one. Colin had just the right gravitas here, but the dog, well -- just went one bark too many in this spot, don't you think? What a doggie diva!
