I posted this on another forum here where we're talking about music libraries, but I like how it ended up (if a bit rushed, but hey, I didn't write it!). It was an urgent spot sent by the radio station to me tonight to voice and mix. I just wish it had about 30 less words in it.

As long as we're playing "here's what I did for the radio station today..." here's one I did this morning. I have a small part as the cranky husband (a part that seems to come natural for me.) For the sake of credit where credit is due... the other players were as the part of the wife... Heather Williams and the announcer was Dennis Cametti. (I feel like the guy on the closing credits of "I Love Lucy.")

Did that guy ever do intro/outro work for Truths That Transform with (the late) Dr. D. James Kennedy? He sounds a lot like their announcer.

I don't think so. He is currently one of our three commercial Production Directors here in Columbus CC.... handling 92.3 WCOL (Country) and 106.7 WRXS (Alternative?) and does some stuff for "The Brew at 105.7... WBRW" (Classic Rock.) His career was mostly honed at Sunny 95... WSNY, Columbus. Good guy by the way.

From TOS - a website is seeking a voice to match the photo/image of their corporate tutor. He's a bow-tie wearing Mr Noodle lookin' kinda guy. They wanted entertaining but not silly/frivolous.

Kent, I responded to that lead days ago, but I like your interpretation of the character WAY better than mine. I just need to ditch the idea of doing character voices. Good job.

Kent,

I saw that one, too. You did great! Not too "cartoony", just a hint of stereotypical bow tie prof, yet very listenable and approachable. I think you met their specs and matched the picture.

Excellent IMHO!
