Philip Started This. On another forum Philip posted his read of The Lion and Albert, first done in 1936 by Stanley Holloway, then Liz posted the script.
Being that I am half Holloway, Arella Elezabeth Holloway, that’s my Mother, I wanted to give it a go. Besides if your going to throw yourself to the Lions of VO what better subject matter.
I would prefer and Evaluation over a Critique, there is a difference.
The Process Method Peluso 22-251, Edirol UA-25, Audcity on Gateway LapTop, Edited on Compact DeskTop using SoundForge 9.0. Mild compression only no EQ or other effects.

Thanks for posting this, Ed!
Delightful Brit humor. You sound great on it as well. It reminds me of Edward Gorey and Maurice Sendak, both huge favorites of mine.
(Though this is more an impression than an evaluation or a critique -- I'll leave that to others -- I just plain enjoyed it.)

Diane
Thanks for the comment.
This was self produced useing the third read. I believe with outside ears that the articulation on severial words would have been much improved.

Well, Ed, of course a Brit accent would really be the perfect way to go on this -- since it is so utterly British in wording.
