Not really a demo, but a couple of versions of the Spiderman song that I just put together for my nephew, Sam's, 5th birthday.
Let me know which you prefer - if any. I'll find out the birthday boy's verdict later this weekend. (5 year-olds can be such harsh critics!)

I bet he liked the faster one better. That was fun!
Where the heck did you get that bed? Sounds like it was recorded off an old Belmont set speaker onto a mono Tascam from the back of a speakeasy. Was that Desi on drums?

Dead right, Melba - the energetic little sprite was grooving on down to the faster version with his party pals (I don't think the amateur bathroom crooner style is quite his thing yet!).
Actually, he got an extra version - again, of the quicker variety - this time in the style of Homer (think this was his fave, as he always insists that I do Simpsons stuff).
The bed was something I found on youtube - not always the highest quality sound source!
If you can stand it, here's Mr Simpson's take on our superhero...

The Homer version is my favorite. You sing better as Homer.

omigosh!!! I think I ruptured something!!! That was great!
Especially Flanders' "revolver" line.
Big Simpsons Freak here:
My favorite Homer line: "I have three kids and no money. Oooo, why can't I have NO kids and THREE monies!?"
Favorite line ever: "Please do not offer my god a peanut!"

Melba: Respectfully from a fellow Simpsons freak, I believe the line actually ends in the singular "money".
"I have three kids and no money. Oooo, why can't I have NO kids and THREE money!?"
But lol regardless this line is, agreed, one of the best.
EDIT: Sorry for the threadjack!

| Lucas -- I thought it actually did end that way -- that was how it played in my head. But then I just thought I was wrong. Thanks for the confirmation that I can trust my memory!

Oh. My. God. Rajiv, that Simpsons Christmas song was *awesome*!

Proper?? MOI?
I don't do many character voices and I truly admire those who can. It's always fun to listen to that sort of thing. Thanks for sharing!
All the best,
--Jodi

I'm so sorry! It sounded just like Flanders to me...which made it all the funnier, of course! True to character is the creed, but the unexpected twist pops my meter!

Come to think of it, Melba, you're right - Flanders saying that line would have been funnier! No harm in taking characters outside their boxes now and again...
Jodi, I've just enjoyed listening to 'The Lady' and 'Too Soon For Forever'. You are a proper singer, girl. No doubt about it.
