I'm new to Voice123 and I'm just setting up my home studio. I'm not sure if I should lay this out here or go to the geek section. Just in case, after a bit of reading (the Fisher/Hogan book on Home Recording) and bumping around online, this is what I've come up with. Let me know if this sounds like I'm on the right track (or if I should go to the geek page with my question).
Microphone: Shure KSM27
Audio Interface: Digidesign Mbox 2 mini w/ Protools LE
Speakers: M-Audio BX5a
Headphones: Sony MDR-7506
Computer: Dell Pentium D, Windows XP, 2GB RAM
I've also created 24"x 24" plywood box with acoustical tile inside (as described in the Fisher/Hogan book) to serve as a table top enclosure for my microphone. One I get all this set up, then I just need to figure out how all the audio equipment, protools and the Voice123 website works!
Thanks for your help! Eric Walker |

Welcome Eric,
Seems like a decent setup for you. Geek Place is also great.

Awesome. Sounds like a great studio. I thought about building that box myself. How is it working out for you. _________________ If the world ever joins together as one voice . . . they need to make sure they are copying mine hahahaha
