I don't know if anyone cares but I got the witch's job that was posted here not too far back. I know a couple of the ladies here auditioned (nice auditions by the way) so I thought they may want to know who it went to.
Also nabbed a couple of video games a while back-- both posted here-- Saqqarah and Harvest. Harvest has just been released. _________________ Dina's Voice To go!

Okay, Scott.... what got into your Wheaties this morning?!! An urban Scott Pollak-- what's the world coming to? (tee hee) Thanks Scott.
Thanks Diane. Not sure what they heard in mine because I thought yours was quite good. Ya know, I've had the opportunity to hear other auditions after the fact from different clients and I'm always stumped... why did they pick me and not her? I can't for the life of me figure it out. It's just wild.
Here was my audition.... the final is not yet complete (at least I don't have a copy yet) There were some changes made.

Dina --
I think our reads were very similar -- I like your laugh better, though -- very sustained! (And I really think I messed it up with too much reverb. Next time I'll give one dry and the other processed.) The funny thing on that one, and you know I hate talking ratings, but this is one where I started as a FIVE and ended as a THREE -- they changed it twice. Only time that's happened to me.

Maybe unbeknownst to me they injected something weird into me during last week's colonoscopy.
Besides, John, WTF means "What the Freak?!", right? We ALL know that! _________________ Scott R. Pollak Warm. Real. Natural. www.voicebyscott.com

You kidding, Dina? That was boffo, girl. (Ah; how we've seen her grow...seems like only yesterday you were just a cute little VO. Now look at you: a full-fledged character queen.)
I adored the merry, shrieking laugh.
Well done, Dina M-B.

Dina,
I thought that was AMAZING! You totally captured the witch stereotype. The shriek/laugh was PERFECT!! Scary, but a little comical... the Wicked Witch meets that witch from Bugs Bunny cartoons (wasn't her name Broom Hilda?) Really, really, really well done and deserved. Congratulations!! _________________ Dave DeAndrea

Hey sugar.... thanks for the song!!! Put a smile on this ole gals face!!
That was exactly what they were looking for... they didn't want anything really too scary. I hate to admit this but that laugh comes WAAAAAAAYYYYY to natural to me. I used to do it just to aggravate the kids along with a bunch of other annoying laughs. Wonder why one is in New Mexico and the other in Pennsylvania? Thanks Dave.
Robert,
Hey old buddy!!! Missing you LOADS!!! Thank you for your kind words.... you've always been so sweet to me.
Diane,
Yeah, you're right... they were similar. After I heard yours I didn't want to post mine-- I liked the nuances in your take.
David,
I lost my recipe for an arsenic cocktail... can I borrow yours? I don't make spider stew anymore because mine always comes out stringy.
September,
Thanks for taking the time to listen and for your kind words as well.
Eric,
Ditto. (Tee hee! Just had too!!) Thanks Eric!
To All:
I didn't really expect this kind of response... Thank you so much!!! I just thought a couple of the gals might like to know since they auditioned-- I know I like to know. I'm more than a little embarrassed by the compliments. Those who know me know I have a hard time with that. Wow... how many times can I inject the word "know" in a post, ya know?
Thanks again folks! _________________ Dina's Voice To go!
