Just a quickie to let everyone know that the new Power Salad CD Cinnamony Sea Anemone is out, released at the beginning of this month at MarsCon in Minneapolis, and is now live on CDBaby,

The "promotional tour", such as it is, rolls on next weekend in Memphis, I'll be performing at MidSouthCon at the airport Holiday Inn Select as a member of The Funny Music Project (aka "The FuMP", www.thefump.com), should be fun, not to mention hitting up Graceland and the Stax R&B/Soul museum.

No, thank you! I'm typing in from Memphis, where I am performing this weekend at MidSouthCon - "Hold On..." is definitely on the playlist.

The audience getting into it with cellphones (in lieu of lighters I guess - the spatula was a nice touch) was very cool.

Will see how this weekend goes, it's only a 25 minute show, but in the bargain I had dinner tonight in a blues club on Beale Street, and in the morning I am going to Sun Studios and the Stax Museum of American Soul Music (and Graceland on Friday).
