Greetings and Salutations!

My name is Clinton Nobles and my Voice123 is up and running. I am (needless to say, yet I still do) new to the career of Voice Overs. I have uploaded several of my recordings and please note that I did the complete production. Everything from editing and compiling the music beds to mixing the vocal tracks. I am learning as much as I can and welcome all corrective criticisms and helpful tips.

I am 26 years old and have been in love with Radio/VO ever since I can remember. One of my earliest memories is when I took a newspaper rolled it up, stuck a sponge on the end and acted like it was a microphone. I used this to read my school books aloud (I was home schooled lol) and interview countless visitors to my families house ha ha ha.

Anyway, please let me know what you think.

Have a great day and hear from you soon!

Clinton...

Welcome!
You wanted feedback? On the Trump thing, it's hard to respond. The first half is just a light-rap rift, followed by what I would term an adequate Donald Trump impersonation. The good news is that you'll see some regular requests come thru v123 for Trump impersonators.

On the second bit, your voice was very muffled and not sharp at all. Check your mic and EQ settings as well as any post-production you may be using such as compression, boost or EQ. The read itself was just average. It did NOT sound like an announcer's read, which is a plus. It lacked much believability, but I got the sense from listening to it that you can learn and ultimately deliver.

As you said, you're new here, so you're starting in the right direction. Get your toes wet, take classes, practice, get some books, listen to a lot of great demos on voicebank.net and elsewhere (even some here) and give yourself time. I wish you all the best!

Thank you so much! I am trying to find classes in my area, but not a lot going on. Also, I think it should be clarified that I was not going for Donald trump lol. The name of the church was "Trump of deliverance Revival Center." I don't really try and do impersonations, I can, but find it better to use bits of different sounds to create an original voice . . . now don't get me wrong I can do a mean Mickey Mouse! haha Thanks again
