Hello all I have a Behringer B1 Condenser which I previously tested on a friend's Mbox and a recently purchased Fast Track Pro.
For some reason I can not get any gain out of it... I have to crank line 1 up all the way to hear it well and even then The signal light only comes on when I speak loud... Any ideas what might be going on? Not enough power from the USB? Should I go get a power supply?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you and God bless !!

Your condenser mic needs Phantom Power. If your mixer or audio interface does not have phantom power your condenser mic won't work.
Hence no gain. Good news is a separate phantom power supply can be purchased through a local music equipment retail store without the need for a new mixer or interface. Hope this helps, Tyler.
www.plexusrecords.com or Private post me with any further questions.

Cheers.

The better news is that Phantom power is a feature of the Fast Track Pro.

Just flip the switch on the back.

My suggestion is to get a quality preamp and then come into the interface that way...it's always nice to come into the Fast Track Pro as a line level and not a mic level.
