The lyrics say at the end....
..
You were the first one.
Oh-a oh
You were the last one.

Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind we've gone to far
Oh-a-aho oh,
Oh-a-aho oh

Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.

In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind we've gone to far.
Pictures came and broke your heart, put the blame on VTR.

You are a radio star.
You are a radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.

Video killed the radio star. (You are a radio star.)

MY QUESTION IS WHAT EXACTLY DOES VTR STAND FOR???

Ding Ding Ding Ding! prost We have a winner.

VCR is video cassette recorder, but before they packed the tape into plastic carriers, video was recorded on 2-inch-wide open reels on video tape recorders (VTR) and , at TV stations anyway, standard reel-to-reel audio tape recorders were often referred to as ATRs.

Great song, Colin. Reminds me of those heroes of folk, and champions of causes.
Like Pete Seeger -- here with Arlo.
Union, yes.

LOVE that song, Colin. In fact, I think I posted it once here, but by The Band -- Levon Helm does such a gutsy rendition of it.
