AUGH!!! I just booked another personal appearance/live remote on, of all dates, May 3rd! It's that time of year. The weather is nicer, clients want to sell cars, and I'm getting booked for remote broadcasts. Sorry fellow NYers, but I can't turn this down.

Whoever came up with this idea, I give you kuddos. I'll have to join you next time. Money talks.

Erik is right!

One week!

PLEASE!
Everyone remember the following:

Sometime this week, when you are OUT of the studio, running errands, grab some CASH and have it CHANGED into a variety of denominations. Put it in an envelope marked "NY Spring VO Rendezvous" and bring it with you on Saturday.

That way - when we have to pay up, everyone will have the cash, broken down already and be able to contribute to the bill. We can request receipts for everyone, of course, but separate checks will drive a waiter crazy on a spring Saturday...it's like being asked for 11 pickups on one line, 17 on another and they're still not quite happy with the rising intonation on "the".

I suppose if folks need to charge to a business account, that's understandable. I'm just a very big fan of making things as easy as possible for a waiter when there is a large group. So, if we can keep the accounting in cash, that's ideal.

AND

Can we get an accurate, "week of", RSVP here?

Thanks!
Until Saturday!

PG

Gee, Peter, I thought this was on you! (kidding)

Put me down for two of us at two. I'll be annoyingly fashionably late due to a late breaking child-related conflict.

Ha ha, I was going to say the same thing.

I always thought it would be fun when a group of us was together to make the waiter or whoever else was around nuts by talking in the most affected VO deliveries we could muster and pull it off like we always talk that way. I like to weird people out for no reason.

It's probably a good thing I don't go out much.

I will, of course, be there in spirit.
Hoist something alcoholic in my name.

ITA with Johnny Walker, aka Michael Schoen. Have a drink on me. I love NYC and really wanted to attend this weekend, but the client signed the contract & the station promo is already produced. They even asked me for my social!! Now I have to pay taxes on this. Crying or Very sad

BTW: Be good to your waitor/ waitress. I waited tables when I was in college. It's hard work. If your service is good, treat them well. You'll be rewarded eventually.

Hope you have great weather this weekend.

~Allison~

Deby-

Google a Manhattan Subway Map-
Take the 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square 42nd Street station and then the 1, 2 or 3 train to 34th Street-
Or you can walk from the Times Square station-

Peter

From Times Square, the walk should only take about 15-20 minutes. I've walked from Times Sq to Radio City. Piece of cake and good excercize. Hope the weather is good!

Just back from the city now -- thanks, Peter, for getting us together! We had a great 4 hour lunch with all of you. Maybe we'll even EAT next time.

See you all again this summer for our quarterly meeting!
