Well, after many many years of decent health (like, 15 or 16 since the last time I was ill with something) I seem to have caught "it", at least that what I remember flu feeling like. Not debilitating just yet (I can still function, unlike the last time it happened) but man, does it sap the energy with all the shakes/shivers and never-deep-enough yawns! And I'm in the middle of a huge real estate webtour project! Not to mention the odd scripts coming in from the production house in FL that uses me...how do you guys do it??!! I definitely consider myself lucky that it's been this many years since I had flu, but still in all, NYEH.
I'm doing milkless hot tea, ibuprofen, and Core Lapacho (herbal). I have my neti pot at the ready - anything to try n subvert the congestion from going into my chest, in which case it becomes full-blown bronchitis and asthma.
Oh vell - - thanks for the rant space - I know it could be a lot worse (last time I couldn't get out of bed for 4 days) but it still sucks

Oh, take real good care, Chris -- that's serious stuff, the flu. Hope you fight it off soon.

Back in my heavy metal singing days strep throat used to cause havoc on my voice year in and year out. Now with a less demanding vocal career even the slightest cold gets me a little anxious.
Hang in there Chris...get well soon!
