I've actually landed about 3 jobs thru V123 over the past couple of weeks, but didn't want to hog the thread. I'm posting this, though, because the client just sent this to me. It's interesting because the average rating on this lead was 4.0 stars, yet my audition was UNRATED, and I still got it. So the point is, try not to sweat the ratings too much. And if I could count the number of 5's I've had that have led to NO jobs............!

Anyway, this is astoundingly short, only 3.5 seconds of me at the beginning, but it's a national spot that will be running on Speed, Spike TV and ESPN2, so it paid quite well (1 year buyout).

Enjoy, and know that sometimes some sweet gigs actually DO come thru this place.

I must not have the latest version of Real Player (I hate Real Audio).
Update: I just upgraded from version 10 to version 11 and got to see the video. Congratulations! That's the job I thought it was. Around the time it was listed I saw it in the Daily Summary and stuck close to my computer hoping to get a shot at it, just because I thought it would be cool to be associated with Chip Foose. But, SmartCast never sent that lead to me. Not that it would have mattered, because you nailed it.

Short but sweet, Scott - as ever, with great texture and resonance to your voice.

As RJ might say... "Monopolize on!" Wink

Scott,
So YOU'RE the one! Wow did I want that gig bad! I know it was just a quickie audio, but I do love his work.

Congrats. I decided to search on here today after seeing the commercial for the 100th time last night and thinking "Who got that !$)#%#&) gig anyhow!"

Wink

The new season of Overhaulin' just started on TLC last week. I was hoping to see Scott's spot but haven't caught it yet. I don't even know if it's running in the show but I would expect to see it there eventually.

You need to watch more racing. I see it during NASCAR and NHRA.

I'm not just a racing fan, I've done work for them too. (helps to be 5 miles from the speedway here)

Well, I still haven't seen it, but boy howdy, Scott! GREAT STUFF!! AAAANNNNNDDD...WOW, NPR in Atlanta is certainly getting their money's worth out of you! I was driving around this morning and it was like you were in the car with me! Great reads for them, the Emory spots especially. You are a perfect fit over there! Very Happy

There must be two Mothers spots that alternate, one with Scott and one without. Last night there was a a Mothers spot but no Scott.
