The best weekend ever!

This past weekend, my girlfriend and I went to Gatlinburg Tn. We only live 30-45 minutes away so it is a really nice place to visit. This was without a doubt the best weekend I have spent in a long time. Very needed!

While on a hike we saw three black bears (a momma bear and two cubs) they were about 25 yards away from us. It was really awesome!

Then of course Gatlinburg is always a blast!

Oh, makes me want to go right now. I love the Smokies -- and Gatlinburg. I've always found it charming; even the schmaltzy touristy stuff (like Ripley's) is charming in its own funny way. Nice slide show. Love the falls pictures. Water level's pretty good there. Maybe Fall Creek Falls will come back. The drought's been hard on it. I live dead center of the state. Flat. Ugh.

Yeah, I know, I had to go over to your neck of the woods yesterday and it is a lot more rolling hills. But I think you have more color going on then we do over here in K-town. Water levels are getting back to normal. Still not as up as we'd like em'.

Thank you very much! As a matter of fact she is a freelancer. She specializes in Wedding photography and I am very interested in journalistic style photography. I run back up for her and a friend of hers that has a photo company when they are doing big weddings. Thank you for thinking the photos looked good enough to ask the question . . . makes me smile Very Happy
