I'm trying to come up with a new slogan...but am getting nowhere fast. The best I've got so far is: "The Voice That "Leaves" You Wanting More" (play on my name with leaves) and "The Voice You'll "Fall" For" (again, playing off my name). Help!!

Ok, just one girl's opinion here, but with your VERY COOL and UNUSUAL name and your leafy graphics (which I LOVE), I don't really think you need a slogan/tag line. They'll remember you for your name and graphics, for sure.

"The voice for all seasons"? "The voice for every month"?

I dunno, it's a fine line between memorable and trying to be too cute, you know? Caryn's got a good point.

"autumn be using"??? Laughing That's wonderful in a horrible way.

September, do NOT use "the voice that LEAVES you wanting more"; that can be taken in a way that is not in your favor on first glance, you know? That's how it looked to me.

My advice? No slogan. No "brand"-ishing of the cutesy wand. Just LEAVE it be. (see how annoying that is? Laughing )

I agree. NO SLOGAN, please! Less is more, when you have more going for you than most.

I'm with the chorus, Ms. Leach. Leave the slogans to muffler dealers, flooring experts and politicos.
Your site is warm, comforting, and winning; much like your voice.
A slogan only cheapens them.

But, if you have to:

- September: the voice for all seasons
- September Day: crisp, colorful, memorable
- You'll never forget this September Day
- Every day, September Day

Nah...Bentley and Ferrari don't need no stinking slogans, either.

Voice On!

Hey now Mr. Jadah... I'm not a muffler dealer... I have a slogan, and it really and truly works.

However (and I don't want to appear that I'm putting myself on a pedestal - I'm not), my tagline/slogan is probably the exception. And, honestly, I just got lucky with it.

What I don't have is a name like September, which gosh, when you hear that name, I don't know about you, but I get warm fall feelings and a lot of imagery in my head. It totally works.

Yes, Caryn. You're right -- your slogan really clicks for you. And it's not a play on your name. I never much cared for those.
It's like the photo debate -- might work for some, but not for others. I'd say to never make blanket generalizations, but, well, that would be self-negating, wouldn't it?

My slogan used to be:

"I don't want to make you mad"
Then I tried, "Melba: Like the Toast"
Then it was, "Hire me, dammit"

Since I dropped all of them, I work much more. In fact I do a lot more of a good many things.

I was considering:

Me talk good.

but then I woke up.

September, I don't think you need anything more than what you've already got. Your branding is already fabulous.
I remember clearly the first time I went onto your website. I loved everything about it and I've never forgotten your name because the images/name correlation was so strong (and because I love your voice, but that's another story).
At the end of the day that's what you want: for people to remember your name; and they will.
In your case, a slogan would probably end up distracting from your name.
