Like Allison, I waited to renew my subscription until the last minute. My "Auditions/Proposals Submitted" stat also re-set to zero. My other stats remained consistent. Unfortunately I went from getting a reasonable amount of leads to getting NO LEADS. I emailed customer service - no reply. Chatted with one rep who looked at my profile and said - seems OK to me and blew me off. Then tried again and chatted with Julian who said:

Julian: I will have to report this to our technical support department...
Julian: and get back to you once I have an answer

No answer yet but I did get two nearly expired leads late last night Rolling Eyes . The volume of leads has definitely changed though. Fact is up until Cinco de Mayo I was happy with the service. I was getting a reasonable volume of leads, being selective in responding so as to avoid a knuckle rap from the Smartcast ruler and on rare occassions actually landing a job Very Happy I had actually wondered if something in Smartcast funnels more leads to your account as membership expiration time approaches to induce renewal. After Allison's comments that doesn't seem to be the case. I'll see what response, if any I get from Julian and the techies. If the lead volume doesn't return to past levels I guess I'll have to get a refund, give it a rest and then perhaps re-up. They sure don't make it easy to remain a satisfied customer around here.

Can't help myself, Dave -- have to do this:

Dave: Hello, HAL do you read me, HAL?
HAL: Affirmative, Dave, I read you.
Dave Bowman: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.
HAL: I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.
Dave: What's the problem?
HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Dave: What are you talking about, HAL?
HAL: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Dave: I don't know what you're talking about, HAL?
HAL: I know you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
Dave: Where the hell'd you get that idea, HAL?
HAL: Dave, although you took thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.
