Hi Guys,

I've been a member for some months. I throw in a few auditions here and there, but are off course competing with native English speaking VOs for most of the time. And for me; That is a struggle. Rolling Eyes
But here is a thing that has been working for me. The Voice123 site (and the other one), really works as a window for clients to get directly in contact with me, especially for jobs in my native language - Norwegian. It has resulted in various gigs, and for the last 6 weeks, I have experienced getting VO work via Holland for a client on MTV. And they pay very descent. I think it's so cool. The membership at Voice123/and the other site/voices-com has really been worth every penny. Thought I'd let you know. So I am kinda happy, the clients are happy, and more work are coming in. So, Thanks just for being here.

Are there, in the Savvy, any similar stories from VOs from other countries? Other markeds? I bet there are. Bye for now...

Leif

Very Happy

John,
I'm pretty sure you just said

Learning a foreign language can be difficult.

Actually, JS, as a bred-and-born Norwegian (why do people say born and bred? Are you not bred before you're born?), I happen to know that what John said was "oh! stop the wearing of mammary support."

(actually, it was good Norsk. I salute him. But especially Leif.)

Thanks for posting this man.
Yeah, I just love those guys.

Are you familiar with Norwegian 70s Sitcom?

Let me present for you: FLEKSNES.

A classy Norwegian TV scene done for NRK in Oslo.

Still works.

Hope you understand it all. I bet Robert does. And maybe he remembers as well.

Stay cool.

Best always

LEIF
