You could easily tell that it was Syesha's turn to go home. While they were showing clips of each contestant's journey back to their hometowns, she had the least amount of public support. (so it seemed) David A and David C had huge crowds show up to greet them.

Although Cook is my favorite, I'd like to see him come in 2nd place. He already acts like a seasoned pro, so he doesn't need AI owning 50% of his salary. Archuletta, on the other hand, can use some lessons in stage performing. Someone please tell him to open his eyes!

Last week of the season coming up. More talk then.

I also cracked up when the camera cut to Simon...he looked stunned!
I could hear him think "this is absolutetly horendous"

My favorite is David Cook. I think he has far more musical talent than David A...however, I wonder about mass appeal...and who is doing the voting...David A is cuter (accoding to my 15 year old daughter)

I loved David C sing 'Billy Jean' anyone else?

Anyone else shocked by the verdict last night? I was actually betting and hoping on Archuletta, he needs it more. Meh, good for both of them.

I honestly find it amazing that Cook did this completely on a whim to support his brother, and ended up winning lol. Which, by the way, looks like his brother is in good shape.

It was funny seeing all 12 on stage again. I had forgotten all about Chickezie (sp).

I was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't really rooting for David A., but had a feeling he'd probably win and (like Lucas said) he needed to win more... but Cook was so much more seasoned and ready for stardom (win or lose).

It was cool to see that it really meant a lot to Cook (as displayed by his stirred emotions). Hope they'll do a studio version of "Sharped Dressed Man" for itunes!

From what I've heard on AI, this yrs ratings drew in over a million more viewers than last yrs season finale. I admit, I used my cell phone quite a bit that night, voting for Cook. Although it took two hours before I didn't get a busy signal anymore.

Archuletta has built himself one strong fan base, so he's probably signed to a major label as you you read this post. Cook, as the winner, already has a great deal happening. He should open up for OZFest. Wink
