I was so overwhelmed with sadness for this family when I heard this news this morning. Steven Curtis Chapman has been one of my favorite artists for years and his personal experiences with International adoption has served as a catalyst for our family to pursue adoption. Please pray for them in light of the tragedy that has occured...

A gut-wrenching tragedy, Dave. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

I don't know about the rest of you, but somehow I find personal stories such as this tend to have a more powerful impact on me than natural disaster stories where many lives are lost. I suppose it's easier to relate to individual loss than that of a large number of people (until one hears of their personalized accounts).
