Once again, my children have outshined me... and I'm so proud! It's a spot for the Philadelphia Zoo (from TOS). I auditioned and so did two of my kids... they got the gig... but not Daddy-o! Laughing

My boy (who already knows what lego set he wants to get with the money) had 2 lines and my daughter (who is likely to add to her growing Webkinz collection) had 1. Not sure which takes they'll use, but here's what we sent...

I like the way they gave each take a little variation. There are some grown-up voice over peple who can't do that. Cool

I hope your kids are paid-up Voice123 members with their own premium accounts. Apparently Voice123 frowns on "3rd party" auditions. Evil or Very Mad

My nephew, who has been a Lego fanatic for years, is now 13 and probably at an age that he would no longer be impressed that his uncle did a VO for Lego a couple of weeks ago. (I did one for them about 5 years ago and my nephew watched the tape over and over again). Fortunately, they pay in cash, not plastic building blocks. Smile

Dave, your kids are awesome! I'll have to listen out for that spot.
Smile

Congrats to your kids, Dave!! I actually auditioned for that gig, I think... but no one does it better than an actual child!!

What better way to get new Legos and Webkinz???

Yes, congrats to your VO-kins!

And it is a good thing that was a Voices lead, too. As Lee mentioned, we get wrist-slapped here for such brazen use of our accounts!

And they just reposted the grandmother role for that gig there -- guess they didn't get the genuine 60ish sound they wanted. From their direction, they wanted real, real, and more real for this. I suppose they didn't like the canned grandma Tweety bird voice I'll bet they got lots of.

Treat those little treasures well now; they may be able to help you out some day. They already have!

I thank you and my kids thank you!

Lee - They take direction ver well.. but only for a limited time... gotta catch 'em in the right mood. Very Happy

Allison - Let me know if you hear it.

John - Right back atcha!

Caryn - I'm sure you were the next best thing to actual kids! Did you try the mom role or announcer role?

Diane - Help me out someday? They're helping me RIGHT NOW! Laughing Those toys can be spendy!

Those "grandparent" roles are tough unless they want the cartoon stereotype.

Thanks again everyone!!!
