Yeah, that's so funny Chuck, your "woosh" sounded like a zipper. Not good conotations there.

Okay, I'm late to the fray because I've been in New Orleans for the past several days (I know, I know... I really have everyone's sympathy here. And no, I didn't get to any Mardi Gras parades).

You're obviously not a novice, Chuck. And overall it's not a bad demo, but there's ALWAYS room for improvement, right? I'm with the group that doesn't like the whoosh/zipper/swoosh/kiss/whutever-ya-wanna-call-it. However, I did like the beeps.

Two quick critiques: ditch the hard-sell "slashing prices" spot that's second-to-last in the demo. #1: You're not a hard-sell voice. #2: the clip just sucks. Sorry, but it's true.

Second critique: I think I know why some of the earlier posters were lukewarm on the demo. It's like we're hearing two totally different people here. I really like the opening Audio spot a lot. But on a handful of spots - ("High prices got you down?" - "So much stuff piling up in your house" - "When you buy or sell a house"... etc) - your delivery is really stilted and unnatural. Over-enunciated, over-announcer'd, and while you have plenty of energy, it's just not connecting. It strikes me as some slick-ass announcer-boy and not someone who cares about me. Not trying to be smarmy here, but that's my take on it.

Finally, I'd also lose the "thanks" slate at the end. Dunno why, I just don't care for it. Sounds a bit un-professional IMHO.

Cheers!
