Hey, I am going out to Las Vegas for the Voice International thing. I was gonna use a frequent flyer ticket, but as it has gotten warmer here in Knoxville I have started thinking abot taking a few days and riding my Harley out.

Any adventuours riders out there who might want to meet up and ride along?

I will be taking I40 out. From Knoxville, it is about a three day ride.

Tom-
Every time I wanted a tattoo I put the money in a jar instead. After about five years, I had the money to buy the Harley! Wink

Mine is a Road King Classic. It looks a lot like the Heritage, but has a little better suspension for long rides.

I hope you can realize your dream one day.

Road King is a damn fine bike.....if I couldn't get the heritage...it would be the road king. I wouldn't be taking too many really long rides, but would certainly be doing alot of cruising.....I was soooooo close to having my baby (the heritage)....and then 9/11 happened and threw everything outta whack and I haven't been able to get back on track with the Harley since. sigh

That is kind of ironic Tom.
9/11 is what helped me get mine. I had been looking at return police bikes and after 9/11 Harley ran a special where they sold all their big bikes at MSRP. That meant mine which was selling for 22 grand was suddenly 16 thousand.

Vic-
I rode mine back from Dayton, OH to FL once when it was 22 and snowing. I was so darn cold that when I stopped for gas, I could hardly put my feet down because my legs were so stiff. Laughing

Thanks man....I really appreciate that. Odds are I won't be coming back to Ohio tho....my folks and sisters still live there, but I only show up every 4 years or so for a visit. But come on out to Colorado man and get that 2nd bike out here somehow and we'll do some REAL riding...in the mountains.....the scenery will devastate you....you'll never want to leave.....this place is biker heaven man.....bikers galore out here.....in fact, you can't go to a local event around here without the majority of the crowd being bikers.....in full garb with chaps even.....hahahaha. Even the cops hang out and smoke and joke with the bikers.

George, Sounds like a great ride - no can do, though. (1) wife would kill me if I spend an extra 6 days on the road and (2) I loaned the bike to my Dad for the winter. He has it in Florida. He's probably doubled my miles on it since Christmas! Here it is - '88 Electra Glide Classic. The kids are my Nephews.

Nice ride Todd!
Is that custom paint?

I almost went with the Electra Glide to get the built in radio but I wound up getting the Classic because I loved all the leather and chrome.

Hey maybe next year Todd.

We're not that far apart - maybe soon. It's 85th anniversary paint, btw.
